Kenya Benítez, Advisor
Mrs. Benítez is a mom of twin toddlers, a wife, a crafter, and a High School Spanish Teacher, for all levels up to AP Spanish Literature and Culture. She attended Rutgers University- Newark, Montclair State University, and Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Spain. She has taught in other school districts but has been teaching at PASE since the opening of the Academy and has made this her home! She had the privilege of being the founder of the Spanish National Honor Society, Chapter: El Boom, named after the famous Latin American literature movement and this year is joining the School Newspaper as a Advisor. Her goal is to inspire other students to read and write what they are passionate about. Her passion is creating things; anything from activities for class, event decor, t-shirts, to game plans to help others. She also enjoys traveling, a good book, or an interesting podcast. Although there has been a name change, it’s Ms. V forever!
