Sutanna Felder is the advisor for The Science Star. This is her 12th year as an educator and 8th year in the Passaic School District. She is the African Diaspora Literature and AP English Literature and Composition teacher at the Passaic Academy for Science and Engineering. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University and her Master of Arts degree from Rutgers University. Both degrees are in English Literature. In college, she worked for Seton Hall's Radio Station, the Rachel Ray Show, and CBS Weekend News. Some of her hobbies include hiking, running, camping, hanging with loved ones, laying on the sand, audiobooks/podcasts, MARVEL, Netflix/Hulu binging, and more recently, solo travel. She also is a makeup enthusiast and loves to play around with different hairstyles. Recently, she added a kitten named Mittens to her former household of one.

Dev Rana, a junior at the Passaic Academy for Science and Engineering, exhibits a strong commitment to his academic goals. Initially part of the Aerospace Engineering pathway, Dev has transitioned into the BCCC program, diligently working towards a general associate's degree. Celebrating his 16th birthday in August, he is a Passaic, NJ native with a penchant for travel, especially when it involves culinary experiences. As a staff writer for the school newspaper club, Dev brings his unique perspectives to the team. He efficiently utilizes his free periods, focusing on completing his homework and striving for the brightest future possible.
